Hou Shifeng, Ph.D., is a Second-Tier Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Chairman of the Professorial Committee at the College of Chemistry and Materials Science, Shandong Agricultural University. He is also the Chairman of Shandong Lead Nano Technology Co., Ltd., and Deputy Secretary-General of the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. He received his bachelor's degree from Shandong University in 1987, and later obtained his master's and doctoral degrees from Nanjing University, followed by postdoctoral research at Peking University. He has conducted scientific research at the University of Connecticut and Florida State University in the United States, served as a professor at Montclair State University, and was a Distinguished Professor at the National Engineering Research Center for Colloidal Materials at Shandong University. He has been with Shandong Agricultural University since 2021. His research focuses on the preparation of graphene and other nanomaterials and their application and development in the fields of environment, energy, and new materials. He has developed a green full-closed-loop production technology for graphene oxide powder and achieved hundred-ton-scale industrialization, with products covering thermal conductive films, composite materials, new energy materials, agricultural materials, and other directions. The company he founded, Shandong Lead Nano, is a national-level high-tech enterprise that was among the first in China to engage in the research, development, and promotion of graphene materials. He has presided over multiple national and provincial major projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international cooperation projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and major science and technology projects of Shandong Province. He has published more than 100 papers, holds 6 U.S. patents, and has guided his team in applying for more than 150 patents. At this conference, he serves as the moderator of the keynote reports and the chairman of the Agriculture Special Session.
