The World's Premier Graphene Event
A Core Platform Integrating Government, Industry, Academia, Research, Application & Finance
The China International Graphene Innovation Conference is an annual flagship global graphene event jointly initiated by the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (CGIA), together with authoritative graphene‑related institutions from the European Union, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Brazil, Australia and other regions. Having been successfully held for twelve sessions, it stands as one of the world’s largest and most influential comprehensive platforms for exchange and cooperation in the graphene sector.
Co‑hosted by the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (CGIA) and CHINT Group Corporation, the 2026 China International Graphene Innovation Conference will take place in Yueqing, Wenzhou, from November 13 to 15, 2026.
Anchoring national major strategic needs, this conference fully supports the layout of national strategic emerging industries, consolidates core‑material underpinnings for new‑quality productive forces, and explores pathways for industrial breakthroughs. Centered on graphene application markets, it strives to facilitate in‑depth docking and cooperation between graphene innovation achievements and industrial end‑users, and drives the high‑quality development of the graphene industry. Meanwhile, partnering with global counterparts during the event, CGIA will upgrade an international graphene‑industry exchange‑and‑cooperation platform in Wenzhou to advance global collaborative efforts across graphene’s industrial chain, supply chain, innovation chain and talent chain.
The Organizing Committee plans to co‑organize themed industrial forums covering electrical engineering, energy, thermal management, composite materials, vehicles, agriculture, aerospace and military‑related sectors together with Fortune‑500‑level enterprises including State Grid Corporation of China, PetroChina, Sinopec, China National Chemical Corporation, China National Building Material Group, CRRC Corporation Limited, BYD Company Limited, Jiangfeng Electronics, Haier Group and CHINT Group Corporation. A series of featured forums will also be arranged, such as the International Cooperation Roundtable and the 2026 China Graphene Industry Development Symposium. Among these sessions, the Graphene Investment Forum will be co‑hosted with Bank of China, China International Capital Corporation, CITIC Securities and relevant industrial funds. Concurrent with the conference is the 2026 China International Graphene Material Application Expo. Thousands of participants globally — including Nobel laureates in graphene‑related fields, distinguished experts and scholars, graphene enterprise executives, end‑user representatives and investment‑institution delegates — will gather in Wenzhou to jointly explore a new future for low‑carbon green development.
After the conference, the Organizing Committee, together with relevant partners, will compile a report on exchanged outcomes and submit it to competent authorities including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the China Association for Science and Technology. The report will serve as industry‑development advisory reference for government departments.
