Leng Jinfeng is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Research Center for Advanced Lightweight High-Performance Materials, Nanjing Tech University, a Quancheng Industrial Leading Talent, and a Director, Academic Committee Member, and Standardization Committee Member of the China Graphene Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance. She studied at Shenyang University of Technology from 1993 to 1997, received her master's and doctoral degrees from Harbin Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2009, was a visiting scholar at the University of California, San Diego from 2010 to 2013, taught at the University of Jinan from 2010 to 2022, and has been with Nanjing Tech University since 2023. For more than two decades, she has devoted herself to basic theoretical research and applied development of metal matrix composites. She was part of the first team in China to carry out ton-scale production of nano-phase reinforced aluminum matrix composites using semi-continuous casting technology, has long been deeply engaged in the field of graphene aluminum matrix composites, and, as a guest researcher at the National Graphene Innovation Center, established a pilot production line for graphene aluminum matrix composites. She has presided over 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, more than 10 key R&D sub-projects, provincial and ministerial-level projects, and national defense projects, and more than 20 industry-university-research cooperation projects. She has published more than 50 papers in journals such as Scripta Materialia, and holds more than 40 authorized invention patents (including 2 U.S. invention patents), of which 7 have entered industry-university-research transformation. As the lead drafter, she has formulated 3 graphene group standards and co-edited 2 books including The Past and Present of Graphene. She has received the Second Prize of the Jinan Science and Technology Progress Award, the China Graphene Industry Innovation Award, the Second Prize of the Shandong Institute of Electronics Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Technology Invention Award, among others. At this conference, she serves as Chairman of the Future Manufacturing Forum session.
